A co-extruded Movement Control Joint is an assembly designed to safely absorb the temperature-induced expansion and contraction of construction materials, to absorb vibration, to hold parts together, or to allow movement due to ground settlement or earthquakes.
uPVC Tile Movement Control Joints are designed to prevent cracking and tile lifting, which will always appear when the floor covering is laid on large surfaces without any joints. Made with co-extruded PVC, outer core of rigid/uPVC for efficient protection of the tile edges, and a flexible PVC is in between the rigid PVC core to accommodate the movement in the floor.
